I think it’s a good thing only if a) they’re doing it for the right reasons, and b) if they’re given the right training and expectations upfront. Been in a few situations with new female drivers that either had no business being behind the wheel of anything that moves, or didn’t find out the reality of life on the road till we were miles from home. ","text":"Definitely agree\nI can’t tell you how many people dropped left and right out of school before the end of the first week after they found out OTR home time. I was lucky to already know and have an amazingly honest recruiter. Most others aren’t so lucky! They just hear about the money and the freedom, not what it takes to earn both. ","replyToPid":223874}
