{"text":"Hi. iv been driving solo for 3 years and now going to start running teams with a family member and I was wondering how or what would be the best option to use to get the most hours in our driving. Iv never driven team so I'm not sure how the HOS would work. Yes it's still the same hours as solo but how would we do the 34 resets and such. Thanks in advance !","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true}

{"replyTo":"","text":"Most productive way for 34 reset is to do what is commonly called a “rolling restart” through the week it’s not uncommon to get a shorter run that one can complete without switching drivers, when this occurs the other can get a “rolling restart” as long as you plan it carefully. If the two of you are motivated and super ambitious, you can run constant by always doing at least your full 10 hours each day so that on the 8th day you always recap 10 hours at midnight, but again it takes careful planning to make that work. Honestly, running team is not as beneficial for the “buddy system as it is for a husband/wife team, but rather more of a preference. Lots of ways to make it work and as you adjust you will develop your own preferences. ","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"Yes. 1 will be driving the last hours out depending on where the shut down point is and that 10th 11th hour the other resets. It is  a while to sit but that's the way to keep rolling without having to sit for a whole day and a half. Believe  me it's worth it.  Fatigue will set in after while. I usually run hard all week Monday through Saturday night or Sunday Morning and watch football all Sunday at the closest TA/Petro to my Monday delivery.","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"What a buddy of mine does is driver A drives his 10 while driver B is in sleeper. Then they sit for 24 hours. Driver B drives his 10 while driver A finished his 34 in the sleeper. \n\nNo matter what on resets you will have to shutdown for 24 hours. But at least you both will be able to take 10 of the 34 in the sleeper and moving. ","replyToPid":0}

","text":"I forgot to mention I'm in CAN so the 10 hours a day for 7 day would work and the 70 hour cycle would reset. For example its 70 hours in 8 days in US. but its 70 hours 7 days in CAN. So far the best option I heard from safety and other friend drivers are be on duty and drive for 10 hours daily and you'll keep getting your hours back at the end. The hours can fluctuate so drive for 8 hours today and 12 the next day to even out the hours","replyToPid":214071}

823111 发表于 2019-10-07 19:05:20 Idk if you got any \"good answers\" other than this but here's the formula that actually works in the States. If you run anywhere between 8-9 hours a day. (preferably 8.5) you're going to bank what you need to run and reset on the 8th day. With the 8.5 your running 17 hours a day. Which gives you 7 hours to shower, laundry, rest, etc. When the 8th day comes 1 will have time to do a shift and the other will  \"roll right into the 70\" and vice versa. Any questions feel free to comment back and I'll explain anything needed.
","text":"What so you mean by roll right into 70 while other has a shift ? And even working 8.5 a day. 7 hours a day is alot to do do nothing. Even to shower laundry food etc, 7 hours I feel is too much. Is there any other effiecent way?","replyToPid":223168}
