{"text":"Well, I moved out to Northern Colorado from NY, became an owner op, started doing enclosed hotshot, and just got back doing two runs into the mountains to Aspen and back (Loveland & Vail Pass) this Labor Day weekend. Last week I did a run from Steamboat Springs (Loveland Pass) to Denver and the week before that I did Monarch Pass (11,000ft+) a couple times. It’s officially Sept. 2nd and as of yesterday they require you to have chains on hand when going over I-70 or any roads up there. \n\nHere are my questions, what do you guys use for your big rigs (or hotshots), Snow Socks or Chains?\n\nIf you compared the Snow Socks to Chains, what did you end up going with and why?\n\n\nBtw, What carnage there is on I-70 of overheating, broken down trucks, rv’s, and cars!! Every time I go up there I see more than a handful of vehicles overheated in one way or another. I’m going to get some footage one of these times and post it up.
