{"text":"So since I do flatbed and with fall and winter right around the corner. I started thinking about ice and how to deal with it. My company doesn't want me driving in icy conditions, especially if the roads are closed. If I have to chain up, it's a no go.\n\nBut that made me wonder, what about the ice that gets on the flatbeds. How can I secure a load when the trailer is covered in ice, or the load might be covered in ice. I'd imagine with little to no friction with the load on the bed it can make things very difficult to secure.\n\nSo I'm wondering if flatbeders have any winter load securement tips to ensure I'm not going to have a load shift on me. I'm pretty used to driving in icy conditions but this will also be my first icy season I driven a truck as well. So just any tips are appreciated.\n","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true} |
