{"text":"Hey guys I’ve been on the road for almost a year as you have read in the title it was pretty interesting the first couple of months working in the winter time and how scary it was and with my zero experience in this path I think I did a pretty good job driving all by myself without a trainer facing snowstorms black ice, i’ve done it all that I have family and kids I am more into going back to my home with my kids every night and more into the city life I have a degree but couldn’t find a job making the same amount of money that I’m making driving a truck now I’m thinking I should go back and try to find a job with almost the same amount of money if not then I’ll go back to trucking. I feel like I’m doing something wrong and please correct me if it is. \n\nThat is why I became interested also with GATS event because i might find opportunities there but I didnt get a chance to go. \n\nSo now,\n\nI heard that people are making a lot of money but my paycheck haven’t been more than $1200 a week after tax is it normal or am I doing something wrong notice I drive 2800 to 3000 miles a week as a company driver for a local company based in Chicago let me know please","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true}

{"replyTo":"","text":"if you want to make decent money and be home daily, Get into hauling Fuel for a. local company, It's a process, You need to get your Hazmat, Doubles and Tanker Endorsements, There are companies who will train you, But you won't get paid much at first, You have to get experience, Or find a Teamsters Union company, You will start out a the bottom. But if you think your going to make the same amount of money you make OTR you are dreaming, We all sacrifice things most other people will never have a clue,   But I get it, We miss out on a lot, But I do this job for my family, Being away OTR is part of the job.
