{"text":"Not entirely sure how to phrase this, but I'll give it a shot.\n\nWhen running recap, or about to start doing so, who is ultimately in charge of what you do with your 70? I don't mean who's responsible for the hours, that's on you the driver. What I mean is, if you are being responsible with your 70 by not running more that 8-9 hours per day, but then your company insists on giving you tight delivery windows that would force you to run out your clock a few days in a row thereby forcing you to completely exhaust your hours in an unfamiliar place that you don't want to do a 34. I guess the question is, who does that 70 actually belong to?\n\nIf it belongs to the company then they can ask anything they want, BUT they should be held legally responsible for any out of service ticket that you might acquire if you were acting at their request.\n\nIf it belongs to the driver then the company should have no say as to how you run your hours, morning, night, 8 hours, 5 hours, 11 hours, all up to the driver to decide and also be held responsible for any out of service that you made the decision to do.\n\nThoughts?\n","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true} |
