","text":"I also wanted to say my experience the scales are going to be over some to cover their behinds for they know they can be held liable in a court of law.  But the DOT don't give crap about your scale ticket its their scales all they care about.  But you can find a officers that will cut you a break.  Its how you cunduct yourself.","replyToPid":160963}

I pull on the scales and crank up the app, only to sit and watch the spinning circle of death for a few moments and reaching over to hit the button and do it the old fashioned way. I have Verizon and it's happened a couple of times but the one that comes to mind because it's happened more than once is the Petro in Oak Grove Mo.","replyToPid":0}

","text":"Oh it’s true I’ll never forget the Nebraska one as I just went through a blizzard and had a shitload of snow/ice pack all over my trailer and he told me to go and clear that. After an hour of banging all over the trailer underneath and back doors I went in to see if that was good enough he said go ahead and go. When I 1st went there and scaled I was way over as the load I had was 44k was so I was close to max gross. He told me I was over weight I told him no way I just scaled the load at cat scale and he asked to see my scale ticket. Shown him and he said ok that snow on your trailer is what’s making you over and to remove it. ","replyToPid":160886}

He wanted to see my scale ticket after I told the guy I just scaled and was legal. He told me to remove the snow so I was out there hitting the trailer with my tire knocker knocking it off.
