{"replyTo":"","text":"You have the time just don’t realize it. Sure when  running you don’t want to stop but you do when you need go to the bathroom. Or when you are hungry and grabbing a bite to eat. You take an extra 5-10min if that to let your dog go to the bathroom. While you are on your 10 you can take him for a walk. Dogs are a great companion on the road. I personally don’t have one because I’m a cat guy which I’ve had my cat ride with me. \n\nYour dog is family you make the time. ","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"I have a Pit that rides with me. They are pretty high energy. I do need to stop about every 4-6 hours to let him run and take care of business. It’s a good excuse to get out and stretch my legs. Most shippers and receivers are happy to let me let him out and toss the ball with him. It does put a damper on going and doing some other things because I’m not going to just leave him in the truck alone for hours. Not a big deal, he’s fun to have around. ","replyToPid":0}

I could leave the doors wide open and she’d wait by the step for me to come back. The dog, well, he doesn’t go too far from me but he doesn’t really seem to understand that the trucks in the parking lot don’t see him. The climbing under trailers is what really scares me, he does it all the time.

","text":"i had this girl from CFI try to recruit me one day.  She had two cats in the window of her truck.  i asked her, if anu of her cats got lose in the parking lot and she said they have and she had to get out and look for them.  Well, i just couldn't imagine myself doing that I would be freaking out.","replyToPid":155038}

{"replyTo":"","text":"My Yorkies only need to go out every 8-10 hrs. They’ve been on my truck since they were 9 weeks old. They’re small so they don’t take up much space. I trained them to never bark so they’re quiet and well behaved. Have hair instead of fur so they don’t shed and are hypoallergenic. They love being on the truck and I love having them 😁","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"also agree on pits being great dogs. buddy of mine found one someone dumped off along a gravel road in the winter. he couldn't keep him so he called and asked if I'd take him being I'm a dog guy. I was very reluctant about it when he asked but gave it a shot.  he was one of the best dogs I've ever had. he was just a puppy but house training him and teaching him basic commands was almost effortless to the point I swear he could understand me. plus when I'd lay down on the couch he always wanted to cuddle and would sleep on his back with his legs in the air. anyone that wants a dog for riding in the truck I highly recommend a pit bull you'll have a friend for life. I miss mine as much as some of my friends that aren't around anymore.","replyToPid":0}

","text":"I didn’t want a pit. I was scared of them too. I’d heard the stories, I’d seen quite a few that people had made vicious and some that were used for fighting. I told my wife for a week not to bring that puppy home. She didn’t listen now I’d be lost without him. He is unlike any dog I’ve ever had. So loving, so attached, so friendly and very goofy. He was easy to house break and easy to train. But, if you get one, you will never get privacy again as it will want to be with you 24/7. That’s a sacrifice I’ve willing made. ","replyToPid":154913}

{"replyTo":"","text":"There's a O/O in the company I drive for and he takes his dog Daisy with him. Everytime I see them I go over to his truck and pet the dog. I love dogs and the day may come when I get one. I'll tell you what, if I do get one it'll be a pitbull. My neighbor has 4 off them and I go down and give them treats whenever I see them outback. They are the friendliest and loveable dogs you can come across. They are really great. Oh they have a bad name but believe me, they don't deserve anything bad to be said about them.","replyToPid":0}
