{"replyTo":"","text":"I'm not sure you know the words you are using. here is what new age is. New Age is a term applied to a range of spiritual or religious beliefs and practices that developed in Western nations during the 1970s. Precise scholarly definitions of the New Age differ in their emphasis, largely as a result of its highly eclectic structure.","replyToPid":0}
","text":"and if you are trying to refer to me being a new driver, then that is not the correct terminology either. by the looks of your picture, I've been driving long before you have been in diapers. Kid.","replyToPid":153710}
{"replyTo":"","text":"Sleeper if you want to split your clock. When I’m on the road I split a lot so I always log sleeper as soon as I’m done driving. If I’m on a 34 or I know I won’t get anytime back I put off duty and I also log out of the e log but that’s just me being paranoid about the man keeping me down. ","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"if you read your regs. it clearly says you have to log 8 hours in the sleeper if you use sleeper berth. so if you long 4 hours off and 6 hours in the sleeper you fucked yourself. dot can stroke you one. I always use 10 hours off duty.","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"DOT reasons, but don't know for a fact that they care Also for an 8-2 split the 8 hours must be in in sleeper if not it won't work, but again now with elogs I'm not sure if it works either way. I'll have to try it sometime.","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"Originally it was meant to be used as log it as you do it. Off duty means exactly that you are out of the truck. Sleeper is meant you are in your sleeper. Every time you get out of the truck you are suppose to switch it to off duty unless it’s on duty like inspection fuel ect. Then when you get back in the truck and get in the bunk you are suppose to switch it to sleeper. So when you are on your 10 hour break every time you get out of truck to go to bathroom get food or whatever then back in sleeper when you get in the truck. ","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"I always just put off duty. That way, if I want to get out of the sleeper, or if I can't sleep and in and out of my rig all day, I don't have to log all day long.","replyToPid":0}
