{"text":"During my training with Prime, my trainer would leave bottles of urine next to the front seat. He left me home for extended periods of time during training. I had to get a temp job at Christmas because I was home a month. I refused to travel with him more and learned that when he had stopped for repair at a terminal, he had driven away without repairing a broken drive shaft. They asked ME why I didn't say anything then. I was inside the terminal during his repair shop wait. I went back to Prime and drove on my own a few weeks. I felt uncomfortable by myself so I told them I wanted to do my training with West Michigan CDL when I got home. They offered me another trainer. I took it. While I was out, they gave my truck away. that's fine. I'm just a company driver. but they didn't ask me to clean my stuff off the truck or tell me they were doing it. they packed all my things into a storage unit including my laptop. they put all my personal pay items back into their stock (chains, wipers, fluids) and lost my broom handle to a very expensive reefer broom. I ended up away from home for an extended time. I was out about 12 weeks I think. I lost my boyfriend. I had 6 loose tires on 2 vehicles. That seems weird to me. Do you know how many loose tires I've had on cars in my life? that number is zero. So I'm kind of suspicious this was intentional because now my payroll is way off base. there are an increasing number of errors. I don't know. I'm sad. I cried last night. I'm a professional woman and I guess the trucking industry doesn't really know how to cope with professional women besides robbing them and looking like they might like to hurt them. I'm disappointed but I really want to do this. I'm just going to keep plugging away at it. But if you see a Prime woman driver, be extra nice because she's probably going through some real garbage. {"replyTo":"","text":"Don't give up, hun. It took me 9 years to get where I'm at. I went to a private owned trucking school. My first company was Earl Henderson. The trainers I was assigned to were lowdown and malicious. 1st trainer still had a student so I was assigned a 2nd one. He'd just got engaged and his fiancee was not allowing him to train women. 3rd trainer wouldn't let me drive until he dropped a loaded trailer. I only drove for 2 hrs total with him. 4th trainer told me to go to the back as soon as we left the yard. I had to keep asking could I come to the front. 5th trainer was a woman.  She was the only one that actually had me do my job but she was a b$#@&! I quit. I've been in and out the truck for 11 years.  Because I'm a mother before I'm anything. Children are grown now. I'm with SWIFT. I actually like SWIFT. People rag on my company but it's actually a good company. They keep me running. I established a relationship with my terminal manager and dm. I explained my past horror experiences to them and said that I just want to be a safe and better driver. They work with me. I'm actually one of the good drivers at SWIFT. CSA points-3, didn't turn in paper logs. Accidents-2 not at fault.  I was hit both times while parked in a truck stop. The first time I was sleep.  The second time I was in the shower.  55 cpm, safety bonus $25, dedicated Costco/GLR, home weekly, $1,000.00 bonus every 5,000 miles. My pay varies weekly, home weekly. It's going on 3 years with SWIFT for me. DON'T GIVE UP.","replyToPid":0}

( experience speaking)\n\nThe rest... I can’t speak to.  While I currently pull Prime trailers, I’m a contractor.  Not even leased to them.  I get home ( or other places) when I want to- all I do is make sure to ask a week or so in advance.  If you don’t ask, they’ll assume you don’t want to go.","replyToPid":0}
