","text":"Engine brakes\n\nThe reason why is from when I was an o/o. Pedal brakes wear out. When coming down a grade I like to be able to have my jake on and not touch brakes at all. Now when I’m at low speeds not the interstate I don’t use my jake brakes at all. All those signs you see about no jake brakes are for the old unmuffled jake brake. ","replyToPid":136465}

","text":"The only way to get better is with practice. I did 5 years local in Chicago. I learned how to back the hard way lol. \n\nVisualize it before you start. Hard to teach it through chat. But best way to setup is go along the front of the trucks. When your driver side window is next to the 2nd truck after the spot you want to park in you cut hard right. Just before you reach the other side cut your wheel left. That is generally the best way to setup. Then you watch your last trailer tire line up with the yellow line. With that setup if you are close to the yellow line or on it you are ok on the blind side. Only time when you get into trouble on the blind side is if it’s super tight spot which some pilots and lots of docks are. ","replyToPid":136499}

I was 21yrs old. \n\nI should of known something was up when the orientation guy says you will hear grass is greener on the other side but when you get there it’s not. ","replyToPid":0}
