Goat heads??

{"text":"Is this what is called a goat heat?? We’ve found these prickers in Arizona, NM, CO, and now Nebraska. They get stuck all over the bottom of my shoes and they hurt my dog. She’s so timid of walking in any terrain other than grass now because of these little F’ers. They’re all over the ground and you can’t see them because usually they are in sandy type area. We’ve never experienced them until recently because we didn’t have a dog before so we just walked on sidewalks. How to people who live out here deal with these??
