But for future reference. 1 gal of fuel is around 9 lbs, so you need to burn 100 gal. second Indiana only allows 12,000 on steers where most others allow 20k. Third tandems need to be slid back to bring 3000+ to drives(this depends on where load ends in trailer and other variables to determine how far back. {"replyTo":"","text":"When you get the chance scale your truck and trailer when empty and a full tank of fuel. You should know what your maximum load can be without going overweight. Looks  like you need to slide fifth wheel back some so you’re not putting too much of the load on steers. Like most guys I have figured out where to have my fifth wheel set for most loads and just leave it there. ","replyToPid":0}

632886 发表于 2019-04-30 01:33:49 are you in a dry van or a flat bed with 10 ft spread axles? if your using 10ft spread axles all your axle weights are good. but you are over on gross as the other driver mentioned. on 10ft spreads you can be 40,000 on trailer 34,000 on driver and depending on steer tires and wheel base and truck type and state up to tire weight rating 13,200. however if you are in Texas you can run the US highways and be over 80,000LBS.
