Split berth help for a guy who doesn't split?

Loaded at 1:40pm and then drove till 3:50pm where i will take my 10 hr break (or 8?)... My original 14hr clock ends at 4:20pm and i still have 1 hr 32min left on my 11. Only got 7hrs 20min left to get home now. Just wondering what i get back 8hrs from now. My 2+ hr break was from 12:25-1:40pm. Thanks if anyone takes the time to school this numbskull who still cant believe i cant comprehend this concept with certitude.","pics":"[]","canComment":true}

{"replyTo":"","text":"After you finish the 2nd part of the 2/8 split break, your 11 & 14 hour clocks will reset back to the END of your 1st break. So, if your 1st break ended at 13:40, & then you drove until 15:50 and then parked for your 2nd break....once you complete 8 full hours in the sleeper berth which would be 23:50, your 11 & 14 hour clocks will reset your time back from 13:40 and subtract any drive, on duty, off duty, & sleeper berth time you’ve accumulated since then (13:40) and your new calculated time will be available starting the very 1st minute AFTER completing the 2nd break. In your case, the 11 hour drive time clock will have 8 hrs 10 mins left & the 14 hour clock will end at 03:40 the next morning. You would only be able to drive 3 hrs 50 mins before maxing out the 14 hour clock and would then need to take another 2 hour break to reset 11/14 clocks from the 23:50 mark and just keep repeating ","replyToPid":0}
