{"text":"Who do you use, and what does it cost you? I'm curious to know what the overhead is. I know this is a broad question, and it all depends on a number of factors. I'm looking for a general idea of what to expect. My personal auto/home agent told me to expect $7k a month... There is no way in hell that could be correct. The driver I will be taking over for said he paid that same amount annually. I'm looking into a newer truck and hauling mostly flatbed and dry van. I heard if I have experience of driving under someone else's DOT for a good period of time that could help lower my rate as well. Once again, I know there are many factors, I'm looking for a general idea or a breakdown of those factors so I can get a better idea of what to expect.
