If you need someone to spot you for backing, if someone up in there chair just ask drivers. When I was new so many ppl was willing to help when I asked. That puts tension on the locking jaws and keeps people from pulling your kingpin during the night.\n\nALWAYS check you kingpin release arm EVERY time you return to your truck. Every. Time.\n\nTest you trailer spring brake and service brake every morning. There is a way people can disable either one. Pull the red knob and idle forward to make sure the spring brake works. Then push in the red knob, pull the trailer brake lever and idle forward again to make sure the trailer service brake is working.\n\nI'm not about to state, in a public forum, how someone can mess with the trailer brakes."}
