{"text":"Hey folks,\n\nAsking about weigh stations over on the ID, WA border on I-90. The company I work for usually ignores them as we've had bad experiences in the past with them (the DOT agents give us a hard time about coming over the scales in the first place and one has even made clear that we were wasting his time). That being said, we used to just drive trucks with a GVW of 18000+ max. Recently, we acquired two used M2 Freightliners for our work. We were still asked to skip the scales and have thus far had no problems still. The freightliners are 26,000 GVW. How serious of an issue is it for us to be skipping the scales in those instances with those vehicles? Our loads normally consist of hard good donations (tools, appliances, furniture, electronics, clothes, books, etc.) or food donations. What are your guys' thoughts?","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true,"externalShare":false} |
