{"replyTo":"","text":"I don't like them... the last company I worked for had a truck with a automatic transmission and it was constantly messing up, would not go into drive when you were ready to leave, it spent many days back at the dealer... plus I don't like it when starting on a hill it shifts to next gear only to either come to a complete stop or having to downshift back to the lower gear. next complaint is driving on slippery roads, it might downshift and put you in a slide. However if you’re hauling heavy or oversized then the automatics will never cut it. But, having family members who have been truckers 40+ years, the automatics definitely save you knee trouble and rotator cuff trouble in the long run.
