Would you pay for convenient parking?

The lots would include wide parking, clean bathrooms and showers.  Understanding the current problem of limited truck parking at truck stops and rest areas, I’d love to know if truckers would pay to have a convenient place to park and utilize restrooms and showers.  If so, what is the price you’d pay?  Note: all parking locations would be within 2 miles of a major fueling station.. If you put your lot where thieves can get in under the cover of darkness where there is no activity (fueling, restaurants)  your lot will be empty. Also, your average owner operator is working on such thin margins that they would seek you out only as a last resort after every truck stop is so full they can't squeeze in around the edges or on highway off ramps. \nThe one possibility that might work would be to contract with as many big fleets as you can. They would demand high security and low rates, but that's the only way to make a go of it, in my opinion. I have found the pay to park places are where the scummy trash drivers are not, and more likely to not get hit.  I eat and cook in my truck. so parking shower bathroom I'd be happy to pay $20 a night. (assuming they actually get cleaned) unlike most loves, flying hooks.","replyToPid":0}

I'll pay to park I have no problem with it. it's a tax write off. but you need to offer more than just parking showers and restrooms. a place that serves food is a big bonus. maybe a barber shop or good cb shop. that will bring the drivers in.

","text":"No this is not fishing or a scam.  I’m just asking truckers for feedback on truck parking needs  There are several companies that provide truck parking for nightly and monthly fees… we’re looking at doing the same thing except in more convenient locations and with bathroom facilities.  So just curious if there is a growing interest/need for parking facilities.  Thanks!
