{"replyTo":"","text":"try ticketfox.com, I have friends who have had some success with them, but your still usually going to pay $700 to the attorney, $300 or so to the court and another $100 - $200 to take a safe driving course. if you don't have anything else on your driving record, you will probably be better to pay the ticket and accept the hit to your dad report. It varies state to state, county to county and judge to judge what you can do. Honestly though, I've had tge best results from calling the court clerks and working out a payment plan with them or better yet, talking to ANY policeman, state city, or local, or court official, in the state the ticket was issued and get them to sign the recommendation for dismissal portion of the ticket you reviewed. I've gotten out of 2 tickets that way for free and when that failed on my third ticket in 2006, I called the court clerk, explained that I was no linger employed due to the ticket and couldn't possibly pay the $200 fine and they set me up on a payment plan. I pay attention and run 100% legal now and haven't received a citation in 11 years, so it might be different now. But these are some suggestions to look into. typically, if you genuinely just couldn't get over due to traffic or etc and can convince an officer in the issuing state of your situation, they usually will sign the recommendation for dismissal, likewise if you get a judge that isn't ardently liberal, which in NC is very unlikely. hope this helps","replyToPid":0} |
