{"replyTo":"","text":"Depends on the gearing as well. Our 99 KW T800 has a 500hp N14, 13 speed with 4:11 gears. 62mph is 1550rpm, pulling 102500lb tridems. It will go faster but it originally was spec'd for this. Now it is a high rise sleeper and we pull reefers so it is more aerodynamic than your shaker. I shift at 1700rpm and run Canadian 2 lane mountain roads. I get the same fuel mileage as you, better on flat ground. May want to try a week or at least a couple days running 62. Yes it can be tough when it seems like you are going backwards down the road but fuel savings, tire wear etc affect your wallet. Rather see you keep a few more bucks.","replyToPid":0} |
