My question is that \" a Long haul driver Suppose to do City work as well \" for example if i am taking a load from Edmonton AB Canada to Chicago IL USA. Do I have to go and pick up the load from Edmonton which I am taking to Chicago IL as a long haul driver or my company should have City drivers to do that and similarly when I comeback from Chicago IL to Edmonton AB with another load do I have to go for unloading too or my company should do that through City drivers. Most of the companies have city driver to do that. If your company is small and doesn’t have city driver then you should ask for $25/ hour. If you ned more help call me 701-721-4709. I have done very few local deliveries and pick up but all paid. Nothing is free!! I hope it helps. If your owner doesn’t wants you to pay you need to move on. Basic pay rate in Alberta is $0.62/mile for US lanes. Don’t work cheap and make someone else rich. That’s your money and you owned it. ","replyToPid":0}
