Refer vs flat bed

{"text":"I’ve been an ow er operator since June, I rent my refer and pay 10% to run loads under the Russians.  I was going to buy my own trailer and I already have an account with dat. I was getting ready to beach off and start running my own Loads and keep my 10%. But shippers and receivers flat out are a joke most of the time that these guys run loads for Roadtex and cargil and a few others who hold me hostage for 7-20 hours!!!!!!! \n\nIs that the norm for you guys who run refer? This prompted me to want to go flat bed plus I Peking the extra work and I doubt that on that side you get held up at shippers and receivers as much but I don’t have much experience with booking my own loads.  And I found out I’ll be going back to the local utility so I’ll be taking most likely an indefinite break.  Luckily my Volvo is paid for ","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true,"externalShare":false}

{"replyTo":"","text":"I’m sure when I ask for detention, the people who take 10% from me keep it. But that’s on me. If I come back in the future I’ll 100% use my authority. I chose to use their authority after using mine for 1 trip doing dry van these guys do refer and it pays great around 11k in my pocket after 9-11 days on the road. But shippers and receivers make me go insane waiting and being away from hobbies and fam make it way to rough.  It’s a good last resort or I’d hire a teammate next time to make trips non stop","replyToPid":0}

","text":"thousand a day with a reefer I don't know if that's good or bad but I made $5,000 last week just went from Knoxville to Bensalem PA and back to Athens Tennessee and I grossed 5240 so don't matter what you find enough also load up was 19,400 load back was 12,000 lbs","replyToPid":444409}
