App not working stranded

I tried asking for help on the message board and apparently they are too busy to answer why the app has crashed there is no way to update the app. I have deleted the app & reinstalled it, it still did not work, so I downloaded it on other devises & it still doesn’t work! How am I supposed to get home now I’m all the way across the country. Time to upgrade for a real GPS this app is crap!!!!!
