{"text":"Shouldn’t a trainee be able to sleep in the bunk if they are tired? It’s extremely difficult to adjust to sleep in a truck especially with a reefer. Why am I wrong for thinking they should take it in the back for a bit instead of slumping restlessly next to me in the passenger seat? I don’t know but I don’t think it’s illegal to banish a sleeper to, you know….the sleeper. I’m in complete disagreement with my company telling me they HAVE to stay on duty up front when falling asleep. That’s unsafe. Eventually habituate to sleep at the wheel.
