Genesis 1:26 is a verse that I and many churches use to justify 3 persons in the God head but thanx be to God almighty that he opened up my understanding! Yes the One true God by his wisdom and grace taught me how to search the scriptures and find out what he meant ! Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Now many said there’s 2 or three person in the God head because of this verse but nobody paid no attention to the following verse Genesis 1: 27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. He created Not them created ! Which means One! Then it says in His image Not they’re image ! When God said let us make man he was taking counsel of himself because their is no other God greater then him with more wisdom only him alone is full of wisdom. The scriptures says Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: After the counsel of his will God made man God alone spoke everything into existence he don’t need help. He alone made the waters and divided the waters from the waters he alone hang the earth on nothing . The Bible says Hebrews 13: 8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. That means he is the same God who created the heavens and the earth the same God who made man and woman and we all need to repent of this error of teaching. Let us do according to what is written.
