Microwave in Peterbilt 389

{"text":"I’ve got a 389 with the 72” flattop sleeper.  The upper compartment over the closet on the passenger side looks perfect for a small microwave.  However I can’t find one small enough to fit based on the advertised external dimensions.  I found several that are 1/8” too wide, and one that fits the width but is 1/8” too tall.  However it does look like if I pull the plastic trim off I could get the 1/8” I need to get the microwave in then reinstall the trim.  So I have two questions.  1) if anyone has found a microwave that fits in that space can you tell me what brand and model it is?  2). Does anyone know how to pull the trim piece off that cubby?  There aren’t any visible screws, and I tried pulling pretty hard on it thinking it might just be held in my clips and it didn’t move. \n\nThanks!","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true,"externalShare":false}

{"replyTo":"","text":"Well, the whirlpool microwave came in and I tried it today.  Unfortunately it doesn’t fit.  The dimensions on whirlpools website are spot on and it is 1/8” too tall.  The feet are just stamped into the bottom sheet metal so no options there either.  It does fit under the bunk, and I have an outlet under there with the inverter, so I guess I’ll leave it under the bunk, at least for the time being.","replyToPid":0}
