Heavy hauler question.. OVERSIZE LOAD

{"text":"Hello I’m a experienced heavy hauler in the state of Michigan.. I have never been given a specific route because I had a cab card and I stayed 150 miles from the terminal so no exact route was given... now I am moved on to bigger and better things with a different company and I’m doing oversized OTR... it’s a whole different ballgame when you have to read permits and obey by the route given... is there anybody that can help me learn how to read routes???? and maybe Introduce me to a GPS that I can adjust my route?? I want to be able to not have to rely on a GPS... I know I’m going to get laughed at but honestly I have a passion for this and I’m trying to be the best I can possibly be.. so please any tips would be great.. The permit normally lists miles between turns. Keep progressing through the steps, make notes on your permit. Whenever you make the next step on the permit, cross it off.","replyToPid":0}

If your permit says exit for route 1,\nPick a point along route 1 and add as a stop so it will route down route  1. Then the next turn repeat. It will be time consuming.","replyToPid":0}
