{"replyTo":"","text":"you can be 12200 too or 34250 etc, as long as overall u r 80k or under.... u gotta meet a true ickd head of a inspector to tkt...\n\nremember a) u can also slide ur 5th wheel to distribute the weight and b) if u r nearly touching 80k or are very tight to the limit on drive axle then pay attention to the fuel lvl u are at, dont go beyond that c) pay attention at docks as to how they load or after they done, observe and see if you can make some sense out of what they have done, better take the extra 5-10 mins there and right away realize something is wrong then go to scale, adjust 3-4 times and still realize its not gonna work, d) there is a drive axle weight gauge in your truck, get accustomed to that, as to what does it tells you and where the tandom is, how trailer is loaded etc, for example in my freightliner, if my load is 40k then i know i am around 77k overall, then i see is the load balanced and all the way to back, which hole is it in, and look at the drive axle gauge, it shouldnt be past way 60... but right around it... if it is way off either way, i know right there either i gotta move my tandoms or if the tandom is in a decent spot but the air gauge is way off then they have loaded me improperly...\n\nhope this helps...","replyToPid":0} |
