{"text":"Weve reached a dillema.....a glitch in the Matrix........a fly in the ointment.....Evermore numbers of drivers are running into a problem of being demanded by more accurately recorded forms of time- monitoring devices pertaining to logs, as by requirements recently installed by the FMCSR......\nCOOL....easy enough......that is until this happens........Driver shuts down in a non- truck stop environment......which, is easy enough to do , or be required to do by circumstance........and yes, proper pre -planning can reduce these instances of being FORCED to park elsewhere - but not ALWAYS.......and heres the part that \nIs cause for fear.......and yes, it causes fear.......its a fear that has increased lately - the scene is always the same, a driver parks on a dirty spot on a shoulder, or in a industrial area, or even on private property such as a lot where trucks sometimes frequent to make their own delivery......\nLike a lowes or a walmart........seems reasonable? Right? Afterall, the law states that he must take a mandatory 10 hour break ..... AND hes gotta take his truck with him........... but, the laws locally may state that no overnight parking allowed.......varying from city to city.......\nNothing like looking at the google satelite images to cind your spot ( pretrip, mid- trip) and make it with only minutes to spare- only to get a visitation by what could be ANYONE an hour or two into that 10 hour off duty break and hearing those nerve- racking words forcefully sound from furrowed faces - YOU CANT PARK HERE!.......\nopens up a whole new bunch of annoying decisions that now must be faced and dealt with.........what are some of your experiences ? How did you deal? How did the company react? The law? How did you adjust afyerwards? \nPlease share your experiences here......","pics":"[]","canComment":true}
