","text":"It simply is not true. Besides nominating a couple of Federal Reserve board members, and the Fed chairman. Then hoping those picks mirror your money policy ideologies. A president has very little influence or power over an economy or stock markets. They cannot pass legislation, congress has control over that, they have no control over spending. They have no power to create jobs. Obama, Trump, Clinton and others were beneficiaries of their time. Just as both Bushes,  were unlucky that market forces plunged during theirs. It is simple economics, and how our political system is set up.","replyToPid":391050}
