Especially ones for the trucking industry. Your local SBA could possibly point you in the right direction. \n\nBusiness 101: 1. Use OPM. \n\n2. Never lease especially if you don't know what you're doing and you don't have a lawyer going over that lease with a fine-tooth comb that understands trucking. In fact have a lawyer go over any contract before you sign. \n\n3. understand any business that you are starting up will take 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year of your time, and still only a chance of being successful.","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"Benefits: health insurance, workman's comp, unemployment.\nLoads: yes, you can book loads, but you will be spend time chasing loads. it isn't fish in the barrel.\nDOT: with your own authority you have files to maintain. safety, maintenance, ifta, permits, drug screening, and etc. you will be a new entrant. you will have a DOT on-site inspection of you files and logs every 6 month for a year and a half if my memory is right. any lapse restarts the year and a half.\n\nRunning your own authority is rough. What is included in that $1200. a month lease payment?  Is it a dry box or a refeer..if it is a refeer, what are you charged per hour of engine time on it?
