Steer tires

{"text":"What do you believe is the best steer tire. I've been using Bridgestone R283a and after 60,000 miles there is a spot where the tire has split and chunked. It looks as if I ran over something which I don't think I have. I am very careful where I put my wheels, of course it is possible. Just replaced all drive tires couple weeks ago so didn't need to find this this morning LOL. Obviously new steers are the plan in the morning","pics":"[]","canComment":true}

{"replyTo":"","text":"I like the Bridgestone R283a steer tires. Install a set of Centramatic wheel balancers on the front axle. I used to get about 100k miles out of a set before balancers and now get atleast 180k after installing balancers. They are a MUST for the steers and recommended for the drives. Almost all irregular tread wear & cupping issues will be eliminated completely. Also, get 3-axle wheel alignment once a year. ","replyToPid":0}
