{"replyTo":"","text":"There's a good amount of companies that have cut rates for o/o and company drivers.. If you have ever looked at a load board and know anything about it.. It's no surprise companies are cutting back.. The rate are truly in the toilet!! In my 30yrs I have never seen loads for .70-.90 cents ranger never.. Even Florida you could get a buck... My rate has went from 1.63 all miles to 1.45.. And that's once for surcharge and once on rate.. Mileage has fallen off some.. But I understand how this works... So don't start thinking about jumping ship, because there is a good chance the grass won't be greener somewhere else... Tighten up on your finances and try to ride the wave out.. At my place they stopped matching our 401k, and reduced shoe pay, and actively tell us to save fuel more than before. If it's a  temporary cut that's ok. Like the o/o was saying it's getting cheaper everyday. And when them electric trucks start appearing we'll go from drivers to truck-sitters. Big companies are always out to move more, cheaper freight. That's competition/greed unfortunately."}
