It’s about taking money that is appropriated to police dept and instead putting it into community programs. Rather than having police officers armed to the teeth, you invest in mental health programs, helping the homeless and many other program that will reduce the need for policing. They are called in for many issues that they are not properly trained to handle. Just do a little research on Camden NJ, which saw a dramatic decline in violent crimes AFTER they defunded the police there....or, you guys can just go put your tinfoil hats back in and howl at the moon","replyToPid":0}
