They didn’t even have to test these people, if they died and were showing any of the symptoms, which were on an ever-growing list that included things that anyone dying of anything could show, then the facility would receive the money. This came at a time when hospitals were at half capacity or even 30% capacity because no one else was coming in for any other procedures, and the hospitals were hurting for money. So, when faced with the decision of either laying off doctors and staff or saying that their patients died of coronavirus the decision was made much easier by their financial situation. That is where the majority of your COVID-19 deaths have come from in the United States, that is why the number is so large. "} |
