Trolls, trolling and other assorted stuff

{"text":"I read the posts on here pretty much daily. It’s a good brain-numbing exercise after a productive day of driving. Sadly, it seems that the number of trolls on here has exploded exponentially. \n\nThis definitely detract from actually enjoying reading all of the things that get posted by the drivers that are actually a positive addition to the industry as a whole. (Trolls, please be sure to note that I didn’t say ‘@-hole’... although I’m certain you’ll enjoy having that to work with!)\n\nI have encountered a quandary, though, and I’m positive y’all can provide some really good, intelligent, well thought out answers.\n\nMost of these trolls post multiple times throughout the day, but they still have time to run their rigs and haul their loads and make that huge bank. Unless they’re doing really short runs or have lots of drops or perhaps are running less than legal items, seems to me that it’s virtually impossible to have the time to post or reply as much as they do... especially the ones that account hop and using multiple different IDs. Y’all know who you are! So do most of the rest of us!\n\nYou folks that get targeted by these trolls, just remember that they’re compensating. Trying to get attention. And the more folks respond to it, the happier that are!\n\nI’ve talked with quite a few of y’all as well as shared commentary with you. Hell, I even have occasional good repartee with those who are of a different political viewpoint, and have actually agreed with some of the things they say (regarding the trucking industry & rig stuff anyway lol)! Although I disagree with what I see as a sadly misguided political viewpoint, they’re allowed to have it. \n\nI have a few theories of my own, like the one above, as to why these trolls just keep blathering on but you folks have fun posting yours!\n\nStay safe, brothers and sisters!
