The old days, when this job was a brotherhood and we ALL talked together via the cb radio are basically over. We basically don’t give a 💩 about anyone else, were to egocentric! Think about it; when is the last time you saw 2 rigs parked alongside the highway because one driver saw another broke down and stopped to help? Seriously! OOIDA saw a way to get some power and make some money, there was nobody to provide oversight (actual drivers. None of the OOIDA top brass has ever driven anything bigger than a desk!) and so it’s assumed that they’re ‘knowledgeable’ about how drivers operate. \n\nI wish there was a way to get a majority of drivers together to make a difference.
