In this economy I’m terrified

{"text":"I’m not alone in this but it’s scary what the future holds. So much freight at a halt because of everything being shutdown. Not much moving but soooo many trucks needing to haul makes rates drop extremely low. Simple things make a difference, the way you speak, the way you dress, your personality, your overall track record, your ability to get along with others, your driving record, the way you present yourself to others, your credentials. There are so many small and overlooked things that make you stand out among others. Who would you choose given the choice the person who hasn’t bathed in a month of Sunday’s is wearing sweat pants and flip flops or the person sitting all alone in the corner clean wearing jeans boots and shirt  neatly tucked in, which one? Be more than just a truck driver Be A Professional, and you will survive. If you already have a reputation of slothness and overbearing prone to argument, late pickups and delivery’s, you might as well hang it up until the recession which is inevitable is over and drivers are in demand and carriers loosen there criteria again. The freight I haul is paying better rates than your groceries pay on your best day! But see the folks that ship this freight wouldn’t give you the time of day, for the exact reason I’m having to defend myself from your ridicule. Drives like you do not have the disciplines and professionalism needed in this particular division, for security reasons you will never know what that is. So enjoy your time off from hauling groceries and stay safe!","replyToPid":0}
