{"text":"Looking for company and percentage drivers who   believe in this time should receive some sort of \"Hazzard pay\". Please leave name and company and email or phone to contact you. I'm trying to put together a petition put across to the government that they need to mandate these \"trucking companies\" to give us some sort of hazard pay. It's normal that we're out here killing ourselves ( under normal circumstances) however, due to the coronavirus, that has taken a whole new meaning! if you've been out here for any number of years you've always heard about truck drivers going on strike the teach the DOT or the government a lesson that we should be paid more ect. Well now would be the time! I'm not saying go on strike but I am saying that we should be paid something by our companies for running around from hotspot to hotspot putting our life at risk. {"replyTo":"","text":"so should you get extra pay during thunderstorms, snow, flu season, ECT?  then the company should be able to deduct pay for nice days with no bad weather, and days when everything just clicks and falls right into place letting you have no issues!  Anyone who thinks now is the time to try in any way to hold a company, states, DOT hostage or strike needs to give up his CDL and go flip burgers.  WE NEED LESS GOVERNMENT TELLING OUR COMPANIES WHAT TO DO!  Be thankful you have a job, if you feel you need extra pay because your not paid enough you should have sit down with the owner of bosses and discussed this before the outbreak not now with what's going on.  Be thankful that your working and have some income, be glad your not sick at home with no income, wife, with a family praying someone will help you out so you can eat tomorrow!  This is the time to come together have patience and be grateful.  if you and your family has their health be thankful AND thank God!","replyToPid":0}
