{"replyTo":"","text":"I had a dorm fridge I bought at Walmart for $160. It still worked great after 2 years when I moved into a truck with a built-in fridge. Of course if you buy a dorm fridge, you're going to need space for it as well as an inverter or APU to power it.","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"If money isn't a factor, you should check out Truck Fridge. They make OEM replacements for most truck and RV Makes, Models, and years. I got mine for a 18 Peterbilt 579, it's been working perfectly since May of last year. Also, the inner workings are specifically designed to withstand the bumping, shaking, and wild temp fluctuations that are inherent in the environment. They sell the mounting brackets and wiring harness (for converting a 12v plug into a DC connection,  much safer) specific to your truck and fridge also. I highly recommend getting your fridge from them, but come prepared to spend around $500. ","text":"Yep. I’ve had this Coleman for about a year. Overpaid from Loves, but yes, Walmart has the same. Runs good. I unplug for a few hours every few nights bc I read it’s not good to run them non stop without a little defrosting of the fan area. \n\nComments / reviews online say the older fan blades were metal and a better quality. \n\nNot sure about that, \nMine still runs good though.
