{"replyTo":"","text":"i did engine swap, got the engine for 14k with 140k miles on it. total was suppose to be 18k but i paid 22k since they had to do some more work on it ( as always ) rebuilding would have cost me between 14k and 18k but now i have almost new motor with all the original parts as turbo water pump egr comp etc...","replyToPid":0}

I've had several trucks rebuilt over the years. with all the sensors and stuff on that engine. your looking at 50k. they will tell you engine cost 25k. but will want turbo and various other components replaced or they won't do job. plus no warranty","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"Overhaul? Driver run rods thru block and then just go to a dealership or mechanic shop. Tell them you’ve got 15 k and watch. I bet there going to pull out nice motor from somewhere, or truck lol","replyToPid":0}

","text":"that definitely may be an option. I found online where I can get all the parts I want. and some I dont like injectors and water pump for 10k. that includes a new head. have fixed geometry turbo so they wont touch anything on exhaust side of head.","replyToPid":314850}
