Question for Owner Operators Why not run a day cab???

Also depending where you haul you might not be close to a hotel and a lot of areas don't have Uber or Lyft. While I see how you would think a day cab would be financially beneficial, the quality of life aspect makes a day can impractical.","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"It’s just simpler not to do it, and more people do it than I think you realize. There are large fleets that do it, and I’m not just talking about car haulers. You’ll probably see more if it as parking problems persist. That’s the best reason to do it. But it hasn’t been done as much in the past because real drivers sleep and go back to work. They get it done and get home and take that fat check to the bank. This “set up” in a sleeper where you park and pretend you live there for the rest of the day, then get a beauty sleep and sleep in til freakin 5... 6... 7 isn’t how truck drivers do it.
