What's the best company when it comes to training their drivers?

Also if fuel price becomes an issue again Walmart will be one of the 1st companies to close their doors. Trucking end of it that is. When we went through the diesel hike Walmart was 1 week away from closing their doors then prices came back down. I want job security Walmart doesn’t offer that. They treat their drivers just like their employees at the store. Crap

{"replyTo":"","text":"I’d say Schneider has the best. Never worked for them but friends have and they have all kinds of praise for them just be sure to get with a new company after 6 months to a year because pay is crap. You just want your foot in the door and get some xp. ","replyToPid":0}

I was trained by roehl and they are super safety oriented. they train you that no load is worth your life or the life of others and they teach methods for safe driving their training also takes a total of 2 months and you get paid the entire time your in training. the get your cdl class is 1 month long (twice the length of most places) and their otr training is about a month long.","replyToPid":0}

","text":"Which honestly makes me wonder what compels people to stay with Werner, for example, for 3million miles. They only raise pay by .01 every 10 months. Doesn’t make sense to me when you can go to a company like Walmart after 2-3 years experience and make 85k starting.","replyToPid":292218}
