836417 发表于 2019-12-20 14:40:58 the company i went through showed me just enough to pass my cdl test. i got with my tainner the next week and she was talkin about stuff and i was clueless. luckily i got a good trainner and she showed me everything esp how to set up. i was a little rough but i learned once out on my own. but i saw a girl the other day 3 months outta trainning. she set herself up wrong for a tough dock. i was just leaving so i thought i got a few moments let me return the favor... told the girl to pull into the alley so she would be straight with the dock tell me why she pulled at an angle in the alley and just started going back (docks were at a downhill) i yelled slow down. she didnt here. i start waving and screaming stop stop stop still didnt listen. she slammed that dock so hard. i walked over to her and she said omg. i said why didnt you listen to me... she said her trainner told her to never take advice from someone else. i just shook my head and said you could have told me that before i stayed to help. goodluck with the dock. by that time 3 employees walked out to ask her and i said you should let another driver help you just use your head and be cautious. why would a trainner tell a new girl that??

","text":"As you said yourself. In school your only taught enough to pass your CDL test. Not  everyone is fortune enough to have a good trainer. I was fortunate enough myself and still have trouble some days where I need to pull my head out of my ass and tell myself to look to see what I want to do. It’s a process. Shame that girl didn’t take your advice. I would only hope she learned from it and to ask for help and listen to that help. ","replyToPid":287644}
