{"text":"hi. First time the abs and tcs light on was during a bad snow storm where the truck was parked for couple days. went away after couple hours and now it keeps coming o and off. 336899 发表于 2019-12-07 10:49:57 I didn't tell you this and you didn't hear it from me, but my ABS light on my trailer is on also at the moment. Well was... \nit magically got disconnected at the two prong plug at the back of the light on the trailer 😉

Once I start rolling it goes away. \n\nI drive freightliner so I couldn’t help much with that code being Volvo. ","replyToPid":0}
{"replyToPid":0,"replyTo":"","text":"the ABS light on your trailer will come on for bad wiring or connections or random other hundred different things which really isn't a problem other than for DOT inspections. the system is most likely still working but since you're in slippery conditions the traction control system (TCS) will randomly come on because of wheel spin and other issues and anti-lock brake system will come on because of the same slippery conditions."}

","text":"is there a way to get rid of the moisture if there is any ? ever since that day the lights keep coming and going. I read online it's most likely a sensor problem but it can be anything. Called volvo and had them look up remotely and they said the same thing. maybe a sensor problem. Now if I get pulled into inspection would they give me violation for it ? any ideas ? tia","replyToPid":276634}

","text":"the ABS light and traction control light can come on and both systems still be working just fine. Plus pumping the brake is okay but there's no way to actually pump the brake as fast as the ABS control systems computer will anyway. Not really a big deal with either system light coming on. All the light is there for is to let you know that each system should be looked at before something does become a big issue.","replyToPid":276658}

","text":"I wouldn't worry about it and just get it checked out and when they fix it make sure they weatherproof all the connections. \nYes you can get a citation and that big blaring ABS light on your trailer is a dead giveaway from a distance to pull you in for a closer inspection.\nUsually in my experience of 48 + years as a Master mechanic it's just a wiring or ground or moisture issue. Cross your fingers that it's not actually a control module of either system which will cost many hundreds of dollars to replace.","replyToPid":276658}
