{"text":"someone once told me,if you come out here thinking your going to be rich, youll never make it as a truck driver. Ever sance i could rimnber i know this its something i wanted to do, i rimnber playing constant hours of gta san andreas, turning the radio on to Krose country station. hooking a trailer and pretending to be a trucker. i finally got my opportunity to drive for a local companny when i was 18 with a permit as long as i had a driver by my side. i did not officially come out to the road untill i was 21, and boy have i learned alot this past 9 years, yes it sucks to leave my wife and my both my children behind, but i always tell myself i am doing this for them, ove notice alot beaing outhere and i know it wont change anytime soon l but it defeantly starts with just one person, beaing out here has show me that we all make sacrifices to feed our family's. or to secure our future's and theirs. But there's one thing that many drivers are forgetting and its fading away more and more with each new driver coming in, RESPECT for one another we are all doing the same things out here we are all taking the same risk example tonight someone at the truck stop was backing up into a spot as I was coming in blind side, yes he shouldn't of done that but I notice how everyone that was parked was on their seats watching, just waiting for something to happen instead of getting out and help,so I told my wife on the phone I'll be right back and I went and guided him in,that started a chain someone helped me and the guy I helped he also helped another driver as well,in this past few days I've helped rookie drivers from CR ENGLAND, adjust their weight in their tandems because believe it or not they didn't know how to slide the fifth wheel, companies like CRST SWIFT,CR ENGLAND,PRIME,the list goes on mega Carriers bring everyone on board give them a few weeks course and send them out with no idea how to get the job done, the companies failed them as an employer, and I feel like we failed them as brothers and sisters, dont just sit in ur tractor and wait for the bad to happend get out if you see it and offer a hand give them advice tips on how to get things done, they will appreciate it,dont come across as a know it all dont be over confident stay humble because regardless of Pay,years of experience, the truck you drive, and the color of your skin, We are all United by the Highways.. let's stay humble and bring Respect back into our profession.. I can honestly say I am here for the love of the Trucks and the Roads. Can you?","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[{\"description\":\"\",\"height\":1224.0,\"name\":\"\",\"url\":\" \",\"width\":1632.0}]","canComment":true} |
