{"replyTo":"","text":"after your training you typically have at least a 1 year commitment,  so if you leave then you have a tuition bill to pay. theres probably crappy scenarios with many companies out there, you just have to hope for the best when you make the leap. theres multiple ways to look at each situation, everyone who says it's a scam is only looking at it from their perspective, not from the company's. people need to remember about the mutuality of getting a CDL, in being we'll help you get it but then you owe us a year. people forget about mutuality","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"My opinion: I don't think it's a scam when you receive a CDL and get paid for being trained. I've attended the Squire program @ Knight Transportation and I got paid $450 a week for attending the 3 week program. I chose Knight, because it is a financially solid company. Their CSA scores are amongst the top scores in the country. I believe that it is a great company to start your trucking career.
