{"replyTo":"","text":"food for thought.\n\nsome of us have dash cams that take a video or picture with using voice commands.  others have cell phone holders mounted on to the windshield where we can video or take a phone using blue tooth. a few of use know what we are doing and use common sense.  now, that's just my opinion.  if an accident were to happen,  the driver will be unfortunate and pay for his/her mistake...","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"Thanks for that Valuable Input Cheerfuljazzy. \n\n My message is in response to pics that are posted directly behind the steering wheel of a rig.  Its probaly inconceivable a co-driver would be sitting on the lap of the driver to snap a pic and post, so this is simply non debatable.  \n\nNTSB will find out who is at fault in the event of a accident, more so likely if there are fatalities.  \n\nI make no assumptions on what any driver is doing, only base a statement on what I see.   \n\nSo take some time Driver and scroll thru the posts of drivers posting pics behind the wheel and I'm sure you would agree that my post had validity and the utmost importance with regard to FMSCA RULES AND REGS as well as the best interest of all professional drivers out there.  \n\nFeel free to reach out with any concerns you may have with my posts,  as I am always willing to help a newer diver.  Cheers!","replyToPid":0}

I can only surmise to your lack of punctuation and grammatical error that you may be using said technology in your response. \n\n I am fully aware of the technology(as this is not my 1st rodeo)out there and I think the message I was trying to convey may have lost its value. \n\nSo, let me reiterate my point.\n\nIt's a lot easier to prove that you were not at fault providing there is no evidence for a prosecuting attorney to pick apart \"somethimg\" in a court of law.  I know this 1st hand as drivers I have known are now serving 20 plus years in prision for their own stupid, selfish actions. \n\nTo address your point, using any viable technology to take a pic, and post while driving will distract the driver in that moment, and as we all know it only takes one moment, one second of inattention for something to happen. \n\nSo realistically your point is moot, any distracted driving where the Driver is responsible is not only usafe, it is unlawful in 100% of this country.  \n\nThere also is no argument that \"some of us know what were doing out here\". Again, I am posting a statement that I feel is important on a public forum. I DO LIKE to get home and not worry that a self absorbed, narcissistic, driver is running next to me or a family member and potentially killing any one of us due to a lack of attention.
