{"replyTo":"","text":"wonderful thing about discussions is everyone being on the same page enough to realize there thoughts and opinions, each thought creates a valid opinion , personally I think the eld is a bad thing , I don't believe any one is asking to be worked to death . The reality is that eld tells you when to stop , when to sleep and when you can run , now as long as I'm doing my job and I'm being safe I should be able to run when I want , if I wanna sleep during the day and run at night I should be able to , instead if I move my time starts and if I try to run on my sleep time I'm violated . Personal opinion I feel enough of much of our time is dictated enough and there is a little bit bigger of a picture then what some are seeing . again just my thoughts .","replyToPid":0}

I live by a mantra “if it don’t make money or save money I’m not interested” so that being said, since ELD has come into effect I’ve ran 2500 miles or less a week. Home every weekend. I clear $1.50-$2.00/mile after ALL deductions. So the ELD has made me money. I haven’t met a driver yet who wants paper logs to run legal or to run less miles. Listen, work SMARTER, not HARDER.
